Reliance Label Solutions, a Kansas-based label converter specializing in hazardous container labels for the petroleum, chemical and environmental industries, will invite attendees to conduct “take home tests” featuring its newest drum label for harsh environments at ChemEdge, August 13-15 in Louisville, KY.

During the show, in booth 307, the company will provide samples of its JetMax 9006 (JM9006) Drum Label, a matte white, Kimdura, water-based inkjet-compatible (WBIJ) product proven to remain adherent and legible even in exceptionally rugged environments. Attendees can then conduct testing at their facilities to ensure the label is suitable for various applications.

Reliance Label Solutions’ JM9006 Drum Label features a 4.5 mil face-stock compliant with BS-5609 Sections 2&3, which focus on the print performance of labels intended for use in marine environments. Measuring 0.8 mil, the label’s general-purpose permanent adhesive provides good initial tack and ultimate adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, while a coated 50#MF liner adds to the label’s overall stability.

Reliance Label Solutions says the JM9006 Drum Label exemplifies its to providing versatile, robust industrial marking solutions. The label can be written upon with pen, pencil, surgical marker, and Sharpie-type markers, and can incorporate color-on-demand in compliance with GHS standards. With regard to robustness, the JM9006 remains reliably legible and adherent even in temperatures as low as -40°F, or as high as 300°F.

The label also is backed by several association credentials, certifying its durability and enduring legibility in harsh environments.
